Seaward accommodates up to 5 people, for a minimum stay of 2 nights. However, we can also take bookings of 1 night for special occasions, the rate is $310 for 2 people plus $30 per additional guest, just ask us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. From December 20 to January 31, the minimum stay is 5 nights.

Throughout the year we offer a special rate of $1370 for 2 people for stays of 7 nights, and we can also arrange other special prices if you want to stay longer than 1 week.

We can also provide everything you need for breakfast for your first day. The price of our delicious grocery pack is $30 for 2 people. It’s a great way to start your first day at Seaward.

To confirm your booking, we will require payment of the deposit. All prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars, and include GST.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellations more than 30 days prior to your arrival date will be entitled to a full refund less a $50 administration fee. Cancellations between 30 days and 48 hours prior to your arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of one nights accommodation or 20% of the entire booking fee, whichever is greater. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to your arrival date or during your stay will incur a cancellation fee of two nights accommodation or 40% of your booking fee (for the remaining nights if cancellation occurs during your stay), which ever is greater. Note that one nights accommodation is calculated at the full undiscounted rate of $310 for two people and two nights accommodation is calculated at the full undiscounted rate of $500 for two people.

Travel insurance is recommended for all bookings to provide adequate protection against cancellation of travel. Our cancellation policy will also apply if you wish to change your date of arrival and we are not able to accommodate you for that date.

Payment of a deposit equal to 40% of the full accommodation charge is required to confirm the booking. Full payment  for all accommodation must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time.

Check-in is available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 12 midday on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only.

The dwelling must be secured (locked) when guests are not at the property. .

Parties or gatherings (more than 3 visitors) are not allowed at the property. No visitors are allowed in the house after 10pm. Seaward reserves the right to refuse access to the property for visitors.

The guests will be charged for any damage to the property, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable. Seaward Retreat must be informed immediately any damage occurs.

Care must be taken of the timber floors and other exposed timber. Stilettos or other similar shoes are not to be worn inside. Wet feet or foot ware are not allowed on the timber floors.

To maintain a pleasant environment smoking is not allowed in the house. If you do smoke inside, then you may be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges..

Guests may be asked to leave the property immediately if there is any breach to any of these conditions.
